Special Classes & Workshops
Always wanted to try yoga but don’t think you’re flexible enough? Or, do you feel intimidated about going to a yoga studio? This 6-week course introduces yoga to the layperson. We will focus on how to make yoga poses fit your body and not the other way around. With this class specifically for beginners, you will be surrounded by people also new to yoga as we all cultivate a supportive, non-competitive and judgement-free environment. You don’t have to rock a pair of yoga pants – just wear comfortable clothing. Students are encouraged to bring a mat, water and a sense of humor!

Located at the Wachusett Brew Yard, this is a Yoga for All practice where all ages can participate without judgment and leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for the weekend. The hour-long practice will be followed by your favorite savasana and pint of Wachusett beer!

AcroYoga will introduce you to the basics of taking flight where you will start the class with partner and group yoga progressing into the foundational postures of AcroYoga. This is a fun, playful class that will open you to new levels of awareness, balance and coordination of breath and movement. Having a partner is not required as you’ll work in small groups and make new friends throughout the practice!
This two-hour session will help enhance your current yoga practice by giving you a better understanding of your anatomical structure, how your body functions and the intention behind yoga posturing for a healthy spine. Learn how to be your own compassionate caregiver – your body will thank you!

Gather with certified sound healer and intuitive musician Nina Vecchi and yoga instructor Michael Vecchi to enjoy the sweet sounds of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls and gongs while being gently guided into a deep relaxed state. Participants are led on a sound journey that unfolds into a peaceful healing experience which will leave you feeling refreshed and at ease!

The Karma Kickers provide an uplifting blend of traditional yoga chants with contemporary music where you’ll participate in call and response chanting evoking fun and relaxation. Join Sweet Euphoria’s Sandy Murcell and Topo Hakkinen along with Sound Alchemy’s Mike and Nina Vecchi for an evening of rock infused mantras that will be sure to kick up your spirit!
To a yogi, nothing says summer like SUP (standup paddleboard) yoga. Enhance your yoga practice with extra balance, core strength, focus and concentration. This form of yoga brings the benefits of yoga with the joy, peacefulness and tranquility of floating on the water!

Intuitive eating is a weight inclusive practice to empower those who have been through the dieting ringer to re-nourish all parts of their lives. Kelsey will lead a group of eager learners through and 8-week nutrition therapy series covering the ten principals of Intuitive Eating in order to cultivate compassion for renewed food relationships. Begin exploring the more joyful alternative to dieting and develop community support in standing up against diet culture. All are welcome!
